AAUW’s Younger Women’s Task Force—DC chapter has launched a new and exciting program for women in the Washington metro area. Women Mentoring Women is a semi-structured year-long mentorship program where we match women mentors with women mentees based on area of interest or professional field.

Mentorship matters. For women, mentorship, coaching and guiding can be the key to advancement. Research shows employees who receive mentoring were promoted FIVE times more often. Moreover, mentors themselves were SIX times more likely to be promoted.
